Bangladesh, once a land of abundant wildlife, is now struggling to protect its natural heritage. Rapid deforestation, unplanned urbanization, and state-sponsored pollution have devastated our ecosystems and endangered over 200 species.  Inadequate legal framework and ineffective application of the existing laws and regulations exacerbated the situation.

The Wildlife: Free Life initiative by Hearth Bangladesh aims to address this crisis by partnering with policymakers, judges, prosecutors, law enforcement, and civil society.  Together, we will work to implement and enforce wildlife conservation laws, protect critical habitats, and raise awareness about the importance of biodiversity.
