Hearth Bangladesh organized this talk with the support of U.S. Department of Justice’s Office of Overseas Prosecutorial Development, Assistance and Training (DOJ:OPDAT) and Department of Law, East West University.  This talk offered a unique opportunity to hear directly from a U.S. Judge who is also familiar with the legal system of Bangladesh.  Judge John Robert Blakey is a United States district judge of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois and former Illinois prosecutor.  Judge Blakey answered numerous questions regarding U.S. Justice delivery system and explained how trial and advocacy skills can become universal.  The talk was both educational and enlightening.
